Are you looking for an activity that is completely relaxing and recharging where you even create something THAt LASTS?
If you want to bond with friends, have a date, if you are looking for a few hours to spend on your own, or if you are seeking for a great and creative activity for your family, pottery painting is for you!
We offer a great opportunity for creation in an inspiring and soothing ambience.
You don’t need to be an artist, nor a specially creative person. Our colleagues will guide you through the basics of painting and after a few hours you will leave with satisfaction, awaiting for your artwork to get ready in our kiln.
MadeByYou is an open STUDIO where you paint your own pottery!
You can choose from our raw potteries – we have several different of them such as cups, mugs, plates, bowls, decoration figures, etc.
After our introduction you can paint them just as you want.

Pottery painting – how does it work?
1. HOW TO START
After your arrival we will ask you to wash your hands and choose from our pottery shapes. We offer more than a 100 different styles and sizes, which are ready to be decorated by you.
2. Techniques & Tools
As soon as you find your favourite shape, we will introduce you to the most important steps and techniques of pottery painting and show you the special tools you can use.
Our selection of paints includes plenty of colours and more than 100 different shades. All of them are characterised by a faded and matt surface when painted, which becomes bright and shiny when fired. All our paints are water-based, non-toxic and after firing: food-safe.
3. Painting Essentials
From this moment you are free to create your unique pottery.
If you are a considered, planner type of person, you can get prepared in advance. Think of your favourite character, bring your own drawings, look for patterns on the Internet or take a photo with you. We can provide you with special carbon paper to sketch your favourite illustration on the ceramics. We have hundreds of stencils to help you draw beautiful patterns on the pottery.
If you are a spontaneous type, just free your mind, release your imagination and start painting what is inside you.
We are there to help you make your vision a reality. – All of our colleagues speak English and are willing to give you guidance any time during your stay.
4. Firing & Glazing Process
When you are ready with painting you will have to leave your artwork at the shop for a few days (3-6 days). We dip all the ceramics in a glaze, subsequently fire them at 1000 °C in the kiln. This is how they became beautiful, shiny and durable: resistant to heat and cold.
5.Pottery Pickup
For picking up your artwork you will only need the email we send to your e-mail address. You are asked to pay for your pottery right after painting. When you come to pick up your creation you just enjoy its new, changed outlook. You will be overwhelmed by its look – we guarantee.

The price you will pay for a pottery, depends on the shape you choose. For approximately 20-30 EUR you can choose from a pretty wide variety of forms.
The prices are ALL INCLUSIVE. They include unlimited usage of the paints, the usage of all our tools, transparent glazing, the high-temperature firing and naturally, the kind and professional help of our colleagues.
You can pay by cash (HUF), bankcard or pre-purchased Made by You gift cards in our shop.

Please consider that eating is only allowed after you have finished your painting session. The bisques are extremely sensitive to grease, so please don’t mix painting and eating. Birthday cake fireworks are not allowed to be used.
